Online platform The Low Countries asked me which Dutch-language book, translated into English, I would recommend to English-language readers, and which book has not yet been translated, but should be.
As for a book that has been translated, I recommended Thistle (De bakvis, Pluim, 2022) by Nadia de Vries aan, published by The New Menard Press in October. As for a book that has not yet been translated, I recommended Half leven by Aya Sabi ("Half A Life", Das Mag, 2022), which I think really deserves a translation! Of course, I would love to supply one myself...
