I contributed a little something to an article by Dominique Deckmyn for the Belgian publication De Standaard : about the fact that more and more publishers (Dutch ones too!) have books translated by AI. This is not only problematic because of copyright issues, but editing such translations, for which publishers often ask translators, is harder, a lot less fun and paid much worse than translating a book yourself. But more importantly: why would you let machines do work people actually like doing?
